ive just place a groundbreaking new drive in my xbox classic (not 360). . it was working fine for about an hour, then i got the dreaded red ring of death its flashing alternate red and green. and i get the green error message on the screen ‘ your xbox requires service.
please call xbox customer support’

i have found that the problem i have is with the bios. it cant boot the clock settings from the disc it must of deleted them when i disconnected the drive (error 16)

I live in Randolph, New Jersey, and its said this on the Xbox repair site for over four days now. It says my consoles been shipped, but it obviously hasn’t if there is no tracking number or anything. Its been repaired so i would naturally like to have it shipped back any day now
