Is it possible to lie about your Xbox Repair?
I recieved the One Red Ring of Death, and notices my one year warranty has expired. I got the E74 Error message, and noticed it would cost $94.00 to repair. I also saw that 3 Red Rings of Death is free to repair, so if I click to repair a 3 RRoD, and really only have 1 RRoD, will my Xbox be fixed if i send it in?

Your warranty has nothing to do with getting it repaired. You don’t have the official ring of death until you have three rings though.
You could always try I suppose.
Nope, that error is different than the one covered by the three year warranty. I wouldn’t even try saying that it is three, because it won’t work. The three light error is caused by a certain error, one light error is caused by a different problem, so they’ll know immediately, and you don’t want to be charged a fake repair fee on top of the $94.00
Well only one way to find out…you can call them and question.

I am sure they will help you…give it a try.
You could tell them its the 3 rings of death and then when they test it they will see its just the one but you could claim that it was 3 rings when you had it.
You can try, but if they catch they’ll send it right back to you un-repaired or contact you and tell you it’s not the RRoD.
IT WONT WORK
BECAUSE!
once you send your Xbox in, they will test it out and see whats incorrect with it. just cause you say its the 3 Red lights, doesnt mean anything.
if they have to repair some other stuff, they gotta charge you.
YES IT IS ABSOLUTLY possible i sent my 360 in because it didnt read any games and when i check my repair status it says repair in progress it takes a couple of days to get it to change from that process but it does eventually they just got alot of xboxs to mail out (AND THEY DO NOT TEST YOUR XBOX) and stuff like that but the one they send you back
is not groundbreaking new nor is it yours its somebody elses thats been refurbished and they just took the serial number off of yours and placed it on the other console
