Does Xbox repair your system for free if you have the red rings of death?

Author: adminmy warranty is up and my xbox is broken. i am thinking about making my xbox overheat on purpose so i can get it repaired for free without paying. does xbox repair the system for free if its red rings of death

I would call Microsoft and give them the info so they can get your system repaired.

Microsoft want to charge you $150 to fix it but I found these sites,

if you had your xbox for less than 3 years you could send it in for free
they will probly send you money to buy another one thas wat they did to me
its says your warranty expired but thats just the standard 1 year warranty that covers everything. the red ring of death and E74 error have a special 3 year warranty, so you are likely to still be covered. either call 1800-4MY-XBOX and wait 20 min to talk to a guy name Mary in india, or do what i did my 2nd time, and just register on xbox.com/support
you can do everything online, register, get shipping mark/box
yes its free, and yes, you will have no 360 for 2-3 weeks. welcome to the party! (my 2nd 360 is being repaired right now, and this is wat i do to pass the time)
